After leaving university in 2013, Abbey worked at IFM Investors as a Personal Assistant for over 3 years before moving to the accountancy firm Smith & Williamson. Abbey joined Barbican Protect, now Burns & Wilcox, in March 2018 as a PA to Stuart Kilpatrick and the wider team.
